We Were All Young Once...

When it comes to David - especially young David - I’m normally research-heavy and photo-light. I prefer it that way. But it's been a tough week or so for me, writing- and research-wise, so I thought I'd give you something young and sweet to smile at. It's a teeny little peek behind my research curtain, and it’s but a very small part of the oodles and reams of research I've got stashed away.

Some years ago now - in the midst of a massive research binge amongst the maze of old secondary school photos and shared remembrances in public forums amongst students of Paisley Grammar in some group or another - I happened across this photo. It had been published in an issue of The Grammarian, a yearly publication for the students at Paisley Grammar.

This one certainly jumped right out at me.

The other fellow in the photo was identified as Kenny Hall, but the girl was unidentified. None of the photos in the grouping this photo was a part of were dated, but I would pretty confidently date this to around 1987.
